Broken vessels
So I sit in bed this morning and all I can think about is the Lord's promises! I'm so thankful for how he can surround me with people who He uses to speak into my life! Lord as I leave to embark on this 7 week journey, may I long after You... May I long to be completely broken... So that when your abundant blessings flood my life, they have no where to pool but flow out of of me, my broken vessels, and changes those around me! Thankyou Lord that you continue to pour into my life in abundance so that I don't even have to attempt to pour into others lives but just realize that your love overflows my cup and anyone near is gonna get wet! You are sovereign... Its not me, it's you! Lord, keep me humble, keep me broken... Lord have your complete way in me. I want to see lives changed this summer! I am your broken vessel:)

read your post and immediately thought of this verse. when that happens I usually make it a point to share it. So, even though I have never heard your band, here is the verse, I hope it encourages you:
Ephesians 3:20-21 -"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly above all that we ask or seek, according to the power that works in us, to Him be the glory in the church of Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever, amen."
I recently started blogging and stumbled onto Sam's, loved it, and through that stumbled onto yours. Keep sharing your experiences with the Lord, they are gifts from Him and I'm learning that all His gifts are ultimately meant for the edification of the Church. Keep it up. Your bands name is officially written on my mirror (i keep my prayer list there). It is easy to say I'll pray for someone and then forget, so as awkward as it is, I'm going to pray for you through this ridiculously long comment (what do you expect from and english major?)
Lord Jesus, thank You for the work You are doing in dustin's life and his band. Lord Jesus, keep his heart soft and give him a sensitivity to Your speaking. May he be recklessly abandoned to You. Jesus, reveal Yourself to him daily. When he reads his bible may it never be to just read, but to know You and seek Your heart and face. Make him into a vessel of Your mercy to those campers and any others who desperately need You. I pray he abides in Your love continually. May the fruit of his life not be by effort, but a natural byproduct of his relationship with You. Jesus, be his preeminence so that when others touch him, they encounter You. Bless him and keep him. Cover him in Your grace and fight for his heart. We love You Lord and give You all the glory and praise. Thank You for how You use the body of Christ to build each other up. Keep moving Lord. Do in us what we cannot do and open us up so we can receive the love You are pouring out. Love You and thank You precious Jesus. Amen
Keep pursuing, resting, and fighting! Be blessed brother.
